"doula" (ˈduːlə)n- a woman who is trained to provide support to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and the period of time following the birth.

- "Meet and Greet"- This is an opportunity to meet each other and give you opportunity to ask me questions. This is no way obligates you to hire me.
- A Prenatal visit- Upon signing of contract, I will come to your home, or place of your choice, and we will plan our course of action. I will demonstrate labor management techniques and we will discuss your birth plan.
- Unlimited phone/internet contact- I am available for you to call/email, at anytime, 24 hrs-a-day. You may keep me informed of your progress.
- Labor and Delivery- Once we have determined you are in labor, I will come to your home or hospital. I will provide physical and emotional support during your labor. I will stay with you up to two hours following the birth, if you so desire.
- Lactation Support- I will provide information and support if you choose to breastfeed. However, I am not a certified lactation consultant. Although, I have successfully breastfed all nine of my babies, over a period of sixteen years.
- A Postpartum Visit- Within two weeks after your birth, I will come to your home at day/time we previously establish. This will give me opportunity to check on you and your family and give you opportunity to ask any questions.
- A Birth Plan- I will help you and your partner design your birth plan. I will provide you with a copy, as well as, your physician. I will take a copy along with me to the birth, to have on hand.
- A Birth Story- I will provide a printed copy of your birth experience for your keepsake.
The fee for my doula services is $400. If there is something you need that you do not see here, please do not hesitate to ask.
